OCAP Benchmark System

Sofia Benchmark System 3.0 measures the performance and features of OCAP, MHP and GEM receivers. Test results can be sent via the return channel to a dedicated Benchmark Result server and may be compared with the benchmark results of other receivers on the market.

OCAP receiver and middleware manufacturers can use the Benchmark System to discover possible bottlenecks with their implementation. Test results help the manufacturers find out areas that may need improving and indicate the effect of possible modifications This software is of particular use to MSOs and cable operators for comparison of available OCAP receivers prior to deployment.
