UniSoft offers a set of tools suitable for development, authoring and testing of ETV, OCAP and MHP applications. These products are sumamrised below. Headend and broadcast tools are also available.

S&T's TSDeveloper Provides a multi-user environment for developing and testing iTV applications. It creates and plays out MPEG-2 transport streams containing multiple services and applications. The standard configuration supports bound ETV and OCAP applications. Other configurations are available depending on your requirements.

TSDeveloper is specific configuration of S&T's TSBroadcaster which has four QAM modulated RF outputs, so it can be connected directly to a number of set-top-boxes without the need of a modulator.

S&T's TSBroadcaster Is a higher-end development environment for ETV, OCAP and MHP applications which is also suitable for live deployment. TSBroadcaster provides complete control over creation of entire transport streams, application signaling, including generation of SI data and multiple object or data carousels. For the OCAP version, full out-of-band transmission of XAITs, CVTs and object carousels, including DSG delivery, is provided.

ETV CoDF Application Inserter

The ETV CoDF Application Inserter combines an ETV application defined in a CoDF file with a source transport stream file to produce an output transport stream file containing the application. Tyically this tool is used to generate static ETV advertisements or VOD sessions.

XAV Application Validator for OCAP, ETV, ACAP, MHP and JSR-242 (OnRamp). XAV provides a detailed analysis of iTV applications detecting interoperability, efficiency, security and validity problems. A detailed report is provided which assists correction of the identified issues. XAV is particularly suitable as an OCAP application conformance testing tool.

S&T's SoftOC Generates MPEG transport streams containing DSM-CC object carousels. SoftOC provides control and creation of all aspects of the Transport Stream including SI, object carousels and MHP or OCAP signaling. Typically used for testing receivers. SoftOC is programmed using XML input.

S&T's TSPlayer An MPEG play-out system based on 1 RU Linux server, provided with a quad-port ASI card, an integrated software multiplexer, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and TSPlayer server software. TSPlayer provides a convenient host for SoftOC. The ASI card is provided by VideoPropulsion, Inc.
