UniSoft offers a variety of headend software for encoding and transmission of ETV, OCAP and MHP applications. These products easily integrate into existing digital cable headends, providing MSOs and cable operators the ability to transmit ETV and OCAP applications in the lab or live. ETV and OCAP development environments are also available. A summary of the products are provided below:

S&T TSBroadcaster 2 ETV A stream generator and play-out system for ETV-EBIF applications. TSBroadcaster generates the appropriate data carousel and signaling for delivery of ETV applications from the headend. All configurations of TSBroadcaster offer n+1 redundancy and automatic failover to a hot swappable spare system.

S&T TSBroadcaster 2 OCAP

OCAP version of TSBroadcaster. Supports both bound and unbound OCAP application delivery in DSM-CC object carousels. Unbound applications may be signaled either via the traditional out-of-band or advanced mode DSG.

S&T TSBroadcaster 2 CDL

TSBroadcaster for OCAP Common Download delivery. Generates CVTs and DSM-CC data carousels containing OCAP code images. Provides DSG delivery of CVTs and carousels. Includes a signing interface to OCAP SFG for signature of CVTs which are delivered via DSG broadcast tunnel type 5.

S&T TSBroadcaster 2 DTA

Configuration of TSBroadcaster which is suitable for delivery of in-band code images and SCTE 65 Profile 2-conformant channel maps to DTA devices.

TSPlayer TSPlayer is an MPEG transport stream player which is particularly suitable for streaming ETV and OCAP content, encoded and created by TSBroadcaster and SoftOC. TSPlayer output may be either ASI or Gigabit Ethernet. TSPlayer is bundled with an integrated software multiplexer. All TSBroadcaster systems are usually bundled with a TSPlayer system.

OCAP SFG

The OCAP Security File Generator (OCAP SFG) provides a complete solution for generation of signed OCAP applications, code images and Code Version Tables.
