enableTV logo DV-TIDE is an MPEG-2 transport stream player with one or more QAM modulated RF outputs. Such outputs may include EBIF and tru2way (OCAP) interactive applications and any appropriate service information (SI).

DV-TIDE can to operate as a standalone headend simulator and is particularly suitable in a lab and testing environment. In order to provide an active return channel, DV-TIDE usually needs to be connected to a CMTS. For EBIF application execution, a tru2way EBIF User Agent is required.
